About Me and Lake Geneva

Maybe as a Swiss, I'm a bit prejudiced, but I believe the Lake Geneva region is one of the most beautiful places in Europe, if not the world.

I'm not telling this because I haven't seen anything else. In fact, I have travelled around the world, including countries like Laos, Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Australia, New Zealand, Costa Rica, Colombia, Ecuador, Bolivia and Peru.

Yet, after (literally) years of travel experience and even more years as a product manager in the travel industry, I still feel that there are not many places on earth that can rival Switzerland's scenery. Lac Leman, as locals call it, with its diversity is one my country's countless highlights.

Not surprisingly, telling people about traveling and Switzerland is one of my favorite pastimes. When the Internet came up I realized that this would provide a great opportunity to share my experience with others.

However, being a non techie, I did not find a way to build a professional, good-looking web site until I discovered a package called Site Build It! which enables you to create high-trafficked travel sites even if you don't know anything about HTML, Java, CSS etc.

Here's the result, my site dedicated to Lake Geneva, hopefully proving to you that everything I said about Switzerland, is true.
