Wonderful Lausanne on the Lake Geneva - Switzerland

Hello

My name is Vitali and my wife and I are living in Russia. About 2 years ago we went to Switzerland and especially to Lausanne on the shore of lake Geneva - Switzerland. We spent 10 days in this region and where amazed about the country and nature, and also the friendly and helpful Swiss people. The time was to short to visit so many place you can visit where you are in this wonderful country.

We arrived with the plane to the Zurich Airport, and we found that with the train system Switzerland has to offer, it's very safe and easy to travel from one part to the other, the train journey from Zurich Airport to Lausanne takes about 2 hours, and the railways station is just below of the arrival floor in Zurich Airport.

Lausanne offers you many museums to visit, or you can have endless walks in the old city, or go to the shore of the lake. Many kind of accommodations is available, and for the food you have a great choice too.

In a little more than half an hour you can arrive in Geneva by train, or on the opposite site of Lausanne to visit Montreux, or Vevey.

And for people who like do some shopping, you will find many great stores to satisfies your desire. Chocolates, Watches, and much more.

We had a wonderful time there. The atmosphere is kind, warm and joyful.

I hope we can make another journey to Switzerland very soon.
