Saint Pierre Cathedral - Geneva, Switzerland

Saint - Pierre Cathedral, Geneva - Switzerland

Why I love lake Geneva - Switzerland.

A few years ago, during my studies at a tourism school in Colombia, I won a price to do some practical work in Geneva - Switzerland. I spent 3 months in Geneva and had also the opportunity to visit other places in Switzerland, like Lausanne, Montreux, Bern, Interlaken, Lucerne and Zurich. I felt in love at once.

A very nice country, with extreme friendly people, very good chocolates and a great nature scenery, I will always remember my journey to Interlaken, with the majestic mountains of Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau.

Wonderful Geneva with his water fountain on the Lake, very cosmopolite, the old city of Geneva where for hours you can stroll trough the narrow streets, visit the famous Cathedral of Saint Pierre, and much more.

The food in Switzerland is very tasty and depending where do you take your meal, you will feel the influence of the neighboring countries, such as Italy in the south, Germany rather in the eastern part and as Geneva as a border with France, more likely to find the French influence in preparing and cooking food.

I really hope to come back.
